Yes. The Foundation prefers to make grant awards benefiting Durham County regardless of whether the grant recipient is based in Durham, Orange, or Wake Counties in NC. Organizations located in these counties with a geographic scope/service area beyond Durham County are eligible to apply. The Board considers the organization’s presence and impact in Durham County when reviewing grant requests from such organizations.
